    Professor Liu Yin and his team ​made progress in the research of high performance electromagnetic absorption materials

    Recently, Professor Liu Yin and his team from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, AUST conducted researches on the high-performance electromagnetic absorption material composition and its structure design, based on the magnetoelectric coupling enhancement effect aiming at solving the existing problems of electromagnetic absorption materials. They has successfully worked out a series of electromagnetic absorption materials, including magnetic nano metal alloy, graphene/hollow Fe3O4, soft magnetic/hard magnetic composite ferrite, which effectively improve the electromagnetic absorption performance and expand the absorption bandwidth to the Ku band and the X band.

    The relevant papers were published in the international academic journal Journal of The American Ceramic Society (DOI: 10.1111/jace.16506; JCR partition: Q1; IF=2.956), Journal of Alloys and Compounds (2019, 794, 68-75; JCR partition :Q1; IF=3.779), Diamond and Related Materials (2019, 97, 107441; JCR partition: Q2; IF=2.232).

    The research work was funded by Anhui Province Science and Technology Research Program and Top Talent Academic Support Program of Anhui Province High College Discipline (Specialty).
